Dr. Welty is a resident physician in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at Duke University Hospital and holds a Master’s in Clinical Research, studying mood and grief disorders in late-life adults. He has published his research in JAMA Psychiatry and the Journal of Psychiatric Research.
As a bluegrasser, Gregg has won 15+ state championship banjo titles, including placing in the finals at Winfield five times. He records and produces from his recording studio in Chapel Hill.
