Greg Reish is Director of Middle Tennessee State University’s Center for Popular Music. He holds the PhD in musicology from the University of Georgia. A scholar of bluegrass, old-time music, and various other traditional genres, Reish is the author of John Hartford’s Mammoth Collection of Fiddle Tunes and numerous other works. He is also a performer, producer, recording engineer, co-chair of the International Country Music Conference, and a voting member of the Recording Academy.
