I'm the board president of the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown, and a host of Wakeman and the Baker, a weekly bluegrass radio program on KDUR College Community Radio in Durango, Colorado.
The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown has been going strong for over 25 years in beautiful southwestern Colorado. We have hosted some of the biggest names and the best up-and-coming national and regional bluegrass artists since 1995. The festival is held every April in multiple intimate venues in downtown Durango, where artists play to returning sell-out crowds hanging on to their every note. This is my second IBMA! I'm pretty stoked.
