World of Bluegrass 2019

Wyld Fern is a musical group from Western North Carolina who infuse multiple styles of music with the influences of Old Time, Bluegrass, and American Folk. The band consists of Lake Carver, a 9 year old fiddle player; Brant Wimmer, a 16 year old guitarist; Owen Combs, a 13 year old mandolin and bassist; and Ettore Buzzini, an 11 year old banjo player. Their style of music is influenced by artists such as Doc Watson, Bill Monroe, The Avett Brothers, and old time sounds of traditional mountain music. They can be heard performing multiple times a year at festivals, camps, churches, private venues, fundraisers, and any music venue that appreciates young, up-and-coming talent!
