World of Bluegrass 2019

Two-time IBMA song-of-the-year winner Joe Newberry is a Missouri native and North Carolina transplant who has played music most of his life. His powerful and innovative banjo playing, songwriting, guitar skills, fiddling and singing has delighted audiences around the world. Tommy Edwards is leader of The Bluegrass Experience, one of the most-respected traditional-music groups in the Southeast. These two old friends don’t get the chance to play together nearly as often as they’d like but have a big old time when they do, and they’re teaming up to do a special collaboration during World of Bluegrass.
