This session features presentations of new research by three scholars who focus on bluegrass music, including 2019 Rosenberg Scholarship award winner Dr. Jordan Laney.  Presentations will touch on the transmission of the music and how it is shaped by industry awards, and a presentation on John Hartford's fiddle compositions and playing.
