Hazel & Alice, the pioneering duo of the late Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard, showed the way into bluegrass and old-time music for countless generations of women who followed them into the music. Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris are among those calling Hazel & Alice a major influence. In recent years, Gerrard earned her first-ever Grammy Award at the age of 80 while Hazel & Alice were inducted into the IBMA Hall of Fame. This tribute will feature a stellar lineup of musicians paying their respects, including many of the players from fiddler Laurie Lewis’ Grammy-nominated 2016 album “The Hazel and Alice Sessions.”
